Fine, I'll start a blog.

My countdown calendar tells me 39 days remain until I graduate college. The flexibility of my degree, public relations, is both liberating and frightening. One of the many reasons I chose pr was because of its broad scope. Now that it is time to find a job, however, it is proving difficult for a person who shudders at the thought of making a big decision. Add to that...I also want to do 30 things in 30 different directions, all having equal pull.

On a brighter note, I'm incredibly excited about what the future holds. The nakedness on my left ring finger will allow me to go wherever and do whatever I want. Although I've done an enormous amount of self-discovery in the last few years, I think I will do exponentially more in the next couple of years. That will hopefully make me that much more prepared for Mr. Right.

I avoided starting a blog for some time now. I was faithful to Xanga for a while, but I don't know if that really counts. I have a problem with believing that anyone besides my mother cares to read about what happens in my life. Yes, I have plenty of opinions which I readily share in face-to-face conversations, but I fail to see why anyone would take time to read them. However, since I need to work on my writing skills, I decided it was high time to give this a try.

Stay tuned for my next post which will be devoted to the joys of attending concerts (and I don't mean orchestral).
